Cheap, tasty, and vegan just like me.
Lovely atmosphere even though it's Harlem.
Sitting around, drinking a mocha, checking emails. What could be a better way to spend a Tuesday. -

So, I want to start off by saying that this coffee shop can make some decent coffee. My coffees, lattes, and red eyes, have all been made pretty well whenever I come here. HOWEVER, the overall attitude of the counter staff and the experience of making a purchase in this place, leaves little to be desired.
You either get a barista who laughs and at least tries to service you with a smile ( even if you aren't smiling). Or, you get the exact opposite. Two guys, who act as if your presence is burning their retinas and like you're a leper-ridden pauper whom they can't wait to get rid off. Then, after paying $9.35 for a regular black coffee and a quiche with ham, I get the pleasure of discovering (after walking out the door) that the lid on my coffee wasn't able to secure the cup. The coffee was leaking from the lid everywhere, onto my clothes, my grocery bag, and my quiche, to the point I just dumbed it. What a waste.
I can almost guarantee that for all of what their customers spend on coffee and baked goods, they are skimping on quality disposable cupware. And most likely, the steam in the cup is causing warpage, which is why I probably had a hard time with the lid leaking. I can handle either the selectively hospitable baristas (I've seen them give"certain"customers better care and attention.), or cheaply made cups that will cause me to spill my coffee everywhere, but not both. It'll be a while before I come back here. Shame. -

Love this place! Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.
I ordered an iced chai w/almond milk, chai was really good but could have used a bit more milk, it was 90% chai with a splash of milk. But otherwise great. The barista did mess up my order, He made me a hot chai when I ordered iced. He did re make it and it took 5 minutes but apologized and handle it well. He offered me a free butter croissant for the wait. My husband ordered a red eye and he loved it, he is a coffee guy. Even with the bumps overall this place is cute, love the decor. We will be back again. -

Adorable coffeeshop with very affordable prices. We got a monkeyccino and the drip coffee, both of which were delicious. The best part is the drinks that are milk based (like the cappuccino) come with monkey art on it! You can't help but smile while you drink it.
The shop itself is very small. There are only a few tables so it's not ideal for working. However they do have free WiFi if you're lucky enough to snag one of the coveted seats.
